Sharp LC 42SB45U 42″ LCD HDTV is part of the company’s SB series of entry-level LCD TVs. Entry-level should mean low prices. With a MSRP of US$1399.99 for the LC-42SB45U, Vizio won’t be worried, but I expect street prices to be quite a bit lower than that. I’m look forward to major brands having $999 prices for 42? LCD TVs that are 1080p capable by the end of the year.

The LC-42SB45U sports a pixel format of 1920 x 1080, which is good, and a response time of 6.5ms, also good. More analysis and the full press release after the break. The LC-42SB45U doesn’t have any fancy features such as 120Hz, motion interpolation, LED backlight, etc. but it has three things: size (42?), 1080p and price. So if those three are the most important factors for you, then Sharp’s LC-42SB45U should fit the bill. Just don’t expect motion-blur-free Olympics coverage on it.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite 120gb was the first of the “next-gen” videogame consoles to hit the market in the fall of 2005. By the time the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii hit stores–a full year later–the 360 had not only established itself as a top-tier game console, it was well on its way to becoming a full-service digital entertainment media hub for the living room, with built-in support for high-def TV and movie downloads as well as Vista-friendly media streaming. While Sony and Nintendo struggled with their respective launch issues–just as Microsoft had toiled 12 months earlier–the Xbox 360 has cruised to the No. 1 spot on the home console charts, with more than 10 million units sold worldwide.

Purple Plate Cakeshop started baking on their our own kitchen and offered home baked products to friends and relatives. By word of mouth Purple Plate Cakeshop grows. Orders came in by referrals. In 2001 a customer got interested in home based business, she proposed for a partnership.

In 2004, the store transferred to another location, beside Lian Hong Co. Quezon Avenue Ext., Villa Verde, lligan City. A much better site, gaining good reputation for quality cakes and pastries customers grow more in numbers. In May 2006, we opened another branch near cathedral church. In 2007, we are granted another loan from Small Business Guarantee Fund & Finance Corporation. This time we use it to purchase the Multi cab for our deliveries and added additional equipments.

In 2008, Purple Plate Cakeshop renovated the store and introduced fast food. In 2009, they decided to close the other outlet and focused on main branch instead and availed the services of RK Franchise Consultancy to help them develop the franchise system for Purple Plate Cakeshop.

Purple Plate Cakeshop got their inspiration to franchise the business from the book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki to quote “a business that works in one city will certainly work in another city”.

Sub Delicious Steak Hoagy was established by the talented Tom Milani (A real Sicilian descendant) hailing from Lockport, Buffalo where he and his family established a chain of Sub Delicious eateries throughout Buffalo. Tom has 32 years of restaurant experience and was trained for the Hilton Hotel chain and is even qualified to be a health inspector. His grandparents migrated to the United States and started with nothing but as was the tradition so many years ago, his grandfather worked hard, raised a family, and by the time Tom, a third generation grandson came along the Milani’s were well established. This new addition to Angeles City specializes in Sub Sandwiches, Pizzas, and real Buffalo Wings. Open 24 hours a day Sub Delicious also provides pizza and sandwich delivery as well.

Tom had custom made pizza ovens fabricated in Manila featuring brick oven cooking. Sub Delicious offers its version of the original Philly Cheese Steak and also Tom developed his own special oil dressing for the sandwiches. The Sub Delicious is located in the old Jade Cool building just off of Fields Ave, you can’t miss it for the patio bar is open for drinks and food as well and it is a nice spot to sit and watch the action.

Sub Delicious Franchises Are now available. The following qualifications, among others, are essential to be considered for a Sub Delicious franchise:

High personal integrity

An entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to succeed

A proven ability to motivate and train people

The ability to manage finances

A willingness to personally devote full time and best efforts to the day-to-day operation of the restaurant as an on-premise owner-operator

A willingness to complete a comprehensive training program and become proficient in all aspects of operating a Sub Delicious restaurant business

Financial resources

Q: How much does a Sub Delicious franchise cost?
A: Typically, new restaurant costs range from 35,000 to 250,000 USD. The size of the restaurant facility, area of the country, pre-opening expenses, inventory, kitchen equipment, signage, and style of decor and landscaping will affect new restaurant costs. These costs are paid to suppliers. In addition, at the time of signing, an initial fee of 35,000 USD is paid to Sub Delicious Corporation for all new restaurants.

Q: How much money will I make?
A: Profitability varies depending upon a number of factors, including sales, location, occupancy and operating costs and the ability of the franchisee to manage and control the business. Questions related to profit and loss are discussed during a later stage of the selection process.

Pizzarina (named after Zarina, Pizzarina owner Mr. Michael Cruz’s first baby) sold its first pizza on August 21, 2002. The baby girl’s name means “golden”. The owner decided to do research on pizza making after seeing the potential of opening a pizza outlet in Sta. Maria, Bulacan where he resides. After months of testing recipes from numerous sources, he decided to cater to middle and upper class markets where most pizza consumers are from. But he priced the products reasonably compared to others. The outlet started with just two flavors and a single serving size.

Now it offers a variety of flavors in different sizes customers can choose from. Pizzarina can boasts of the famous cheesy sausage ring pizza, a combination of hotdog and pizza rolled into one great meal. Pizzarina started to include spaghetti and ensaymada in its menu in 2003.

Pizzarina offers Pizza variations such as Vegetarian, Hawaiian, Ham and Mushroom, Beef and Mushroom, Pepperoning Pepperoni and Super 8. There are also pasta and chicken accompanying the pizza meal. Bakery treats are offered such as ensaymada, cheeseroll and fudgy brownies. Pizzarina is envisioned to be very investor-friendly.

Buying a Pizzarina franchise means a bigger profit margin for the investor coming from savings of having a centralized procurement network and on-site production of major ingredients such as pizza crust and pizza sauce. This ensures the freshness of the product while still maintaining an affordable price. Pizzarina endeavors to make the best pizza with the most pizza toppings and sell it at a price most competitive. It is no exaggeration, therefore, to say that owning a Pizzarina is a golden opportunity

Andy’s Crunchicken started in the canteen business in Manila in 1986 with the founder Andy Caro. After he passed away, the family moved to Cebu City. Seeing a potential in the food industry in Cebu, the daughter ventured into canteens inside schools. After years of constant innovation, the famous crispy, tender chicken became well known as orders even from outside the school campus were booked for parties, thus the Andy’s Crunchicken was established.

The first outlet was opened at Salinas Drive, Lahug in October 2003 initially intended as a take-out counter. Soon, the place got too small as dine-in customers started to come in. They opened other outlets at Capitol Site and in Talamban aside from the ones inside the schools. A year after, the management decided to offer the business for franchise after so many inquiries from interested entrepreneurs. Within months thereafter, 5 franchisees opened outlets scattered throughout Metro Cebu. This year, the company is undergoing it’s expansion plans as it transfers to a bigger commissary. The company decided to make all the company-owned branches into fast food chains that sells not only chicken but other gourmet over-the-counter food to tap a wider market.

Andy’s Crunchicken is a wholly Filipino-owned business now managed by Crunchee Food Chain Corp.
